Seeking nominations for our board of directors

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the environment? Do you believe in the power of community-driven initiatives to create lasting change? Our Social Fabric, a non-profit organization based in Vancouver dedicated to eradicating textile waste in Canadian landfills, is actively seeking an individual with retail and/or ecommerce expertise to join our dynamic and committed Board of Directors.

Retail and Ecommerce Extraordinaire:

Do you have a background in retail and/or ecommerce and a deep appreciation for sustainability and the fibre arts? We are searching for an individual with a passion for creating positive change in consumer behavior and an eye of continuous improvement in operational delivery. Your expertise in retail and ecommerce will help us develop innovative strategies to ensure we save even more fabric from the landfill.

Candidates should share our commitment to sustainability and the fibre arts. By joining Our Social Fabric, you'll be part of a dedicated team working towards a more environmentally conscious future whilst being part of a wider community who love the fibre arts. 

If you or someone you know is ready to make a meaningful contribution, please submit nominations or expressions of interest via email.  Applicants don’t have to live in the Vancouver Lower Mainland but it would be preferable. Applicants must be able to attend monthly board meetings via Zoom and our annual strategy meeting, held in-person in Vancouver.

We will accept nominations until we fill the essential roles. Please pass this call for nominations along to anyone you know who may be interested!
